As far as I was concerned, this wasn't quite as good as other books by this author. Flora is kidnapped and forced to endure terrible ordeals, including spending a lot of time in a pine coffin but then goes on to build some kind of a bond with the perpetrator. After she's rescued it's hard for her to settle into her old life and before long she's yet in more danger. I couldn't get into this character at all, so it became a bit of a struggle to read. However the descriptions of life in the box, the claustrophobia and never knowing if this would be your last day or not we're vivid. It also made you think how you would cope if you were in this type of situation.
