Three and a half stars. A must read for anyone who has ever worked in an office, especially when a new boss takes over from the old, much loved one. Rachel is here to streamline and make people more productive, but as for her people skills? She doesn't have any. This particular workplace seems only to have weak, people with no backbone which didn't make them likeable - put it this way I wouldn't want to share an office with them! On the other side of the Atlantic, we have Anne, who is closely monitoring a crime committed in the UK. Despite the fact that not an awful lot happened until much nearer the end, I was engrossed enough by the story to carry on and liked the twist which for once I didn't see coming!
