I have always loved books ever since I learnt to read. The sort of person who would look at an instruction manual if there were nothing else available. Not that that has happened too often - I have tottering piles of books not to mention e books. I will read almost anything as l long as it holds my interest. Besides books. I love music, photography, cryptic crosswords and playing Fitz 1 & 2 games.
A tale of two different times - Megan and Merlin, Laura and Dan. The modern duo buy a delightful cottage in the Welsh hills and immediately Laura feels at home. A place where she can paint and try to get over the fact she can't have a baby. Loved some things about this, the myths, legends, descriptions of the glorious Welsh scenery and the style of writing. Sadly the characters weren't very engaging and I finished the book without really knowing anything much about any of them. It was a nice, pleasant read - enough to make me want to read other books by this author.
