I have always loved books ever since I learnt to read. The sort of person who would look at an instruction manual if there were nothing else available. Not that that has happened too often - I have tottering piles of books not to mention e books. I will read almost anything as l long as it holds my interest. Besides books. I love music, photography, cryptic crosswords and playing Fitz 1 & 2 games.
Found, Near Water - Katherine Hayton

Christine runs a group for distressed women who have lost a child one way or another, helping them to come to terms with their tragedies. Not a comfortable subject for any of them or for the reader either. Despite of the horrible things which had happened I couldn't really warm to any of the characters and there were quite a few of them! Plus the book was a bit disjointed which was off putting. I did like the fact it's set in New Zealand which is always interesting. If anyone likes dark and/or depressing topics then this book could be right up their street.
