Lovely book cover and lovely location. Robyn is at Uni when her parents move to Cornwall, but spends holiday times with them. She decides to learn how to surf in the nearby hidden cove but on the first attempt gets into trouble and is rescued by Jago, the son of the people who live in the only other house. This is where they were first attracted to each other, where their bond was formed. After that it becomes a tale of star-crossed lovers - so much so that it began to be a bit wearing. There was always something happening or yet another interruption to make them go their separate ways - again. I did enjoy the book despite of this. There were some beautiful descriptions of the various places and the writing was pretty good too, flowing along like a river into the sea. Emylia Hall is definitely an author to look out for and this book would be a great holiday read.
